Welcome to Shakespeare Lodge 284 in Warwick

Shakespeare Lodge - No.284 is one of the oldest Masonic Lodges in the UK. It can trace the lodge's original formation well beyond two hundred years ago. The Lodge is highly active and meets on a regular basis at Alderson House in the historic market town of Warwick close to Warwick Castle.

The following pages present detailed information about this fine masonic Lodge, the history of the Lodge, Freemasonry in general and of course the charitable work the freemasons do.

Our Membership

New Members have regularly been  joining Shakespeare Lodge No.284 over the last few years.

But we know we cannot afford to rest on our laurels.

We recognise the need to attract Joining Members from other Lodges and even more importantly for the futurecritically Initiates who are new to Masonry.
